The Laurels of Carson City is very pleased that many surgeons and attending physicians follow their patients at our facility.
If your physician does not have admitting privileges, our Medical Director or other attending physician will be happy to oversee your care while you are staying with us. Shahzeb Khan, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Khan is an experienced and well trained physician. He completed his internal medicine
residency at Wayne State University. After his residency, he worked as a hospitalist for over
9 years at various hospitals in Michigan and throughout the country.
Dr. Khan is Michigander at heart and thus moved back to Michigan to work with Theoria
Medical. He is passionate about patient and felt a calling to care for nursing home residents.
He takes his extensive hospitalist experience to the nursing home bedside to take care of
residents.
